genius prince vol 9: ch 1

Chapter 1 |hey, how about unification ?

The beginning is long ago. It all started when a man set out on a journey. The man's family was oppressed and treated as slaves. Without pride or culture, and with no hope of salvation in this life or the next, his people were dying. Their cries for salvation were heard nowhere. Instead, they were met with ridicule from the rulers.

The ruler says as he wields the whip.

“There is no God for you slaves. It is destined to be ridiculed, oppressed, and crushed.’’

Many of their compatriots wept at their taunts. No matter what they said back, the fact was that they were not saved. They have already suffered enough trials and unreasonableness. They had to admit that they were unloved by God, because God would not help them but only the man was different.

“Somewhere on this vast continent, there must be a God who would save us. He just doesn't know our voice yet.”

That was his convocation.

"I will find him. No matter how many years or decades it takes, the god who saved us Fulhams."

Then the man set out on his journey to find God. The man, whose name is now lost and who will only be referred to in later generations as the Founder, is said to have had flaming red hair and brilliant crimson eyes.

-----------------------------------

"-Well, this is the man who will later build the Fulham kingdom."

With a book in his hand, the boy is lit by the flickering  fireplace. Wayne Salema Alvarest, Prince of the Kingdom of Natra. The snow falling silently behind the window, combined with the warmth of the fireplace, seemed to be full of warmth.

"Looking for God ...he really doing that?"

That's the question of a girl sitting by the fireplace, just like Wayne. She is named Franya Elk Alvarest. She is Wayne's younger sister and the princess of the Kingdom of Natra. The two siblings were discussing the history of a tribe. That is, the history of the Fulham people hundreds of years ago.

"According to the archives kept in Natra, that is the case. Of course, that was hundreds of years ago. It's a bit far-fetched to get an accurate picture of what was going on in the minds of the people back then."

Still, the accuracy of historical sources is by no means underestimated, Wayne says.

"Then, brother, did the founder find God from somewhere?"

Wayne continues, without saying anything definite.

"The founder traveled around the continent and went everywhere when he heard that there was a god. Sometimes, even in the sacred places where people should not enter, he did not hesitate to search him. It seems that because of this, he was the target of many different god-followers. "

"founder were so desperate, weren't he?"

Without regard for his own peril, the founder searched for God. He even literally split the grass roots to continue his search. All in order to give some small measure of peace of mind to his friends, companions, and loved ones who were still suffering.

" But that wish was not granted."

"what" Franya was amazed at him.

"At that time, gods and spiritual beings were much more believed than they are now. Forests, rivers, mountains, seas ... from primitive spiritual beliefs to multi-god religions centered on the main god. There were various beliefs. Among them, the founder was probably convertied the oldest God's - atheism. "

He searched everywhere, even had his life threatened, and even achieved the feat of circumnavigating the continent at the end of many years, but he never found a god to protect the Fulham.

No, not even close. In his search for God, the founder continued to uncover the mysteries and unwillingly became convinced that all the gods worshipped on this continent were false.

" he never found God. ...... But he did build the Kingdom of the Fulham, didn't he?"

“Yes, he did. The founder was once discouraged, but then he came up with a devilish idea. Yes, if all gods are fictions, why not create a god that suits the Fulham?” Wayne paused to grin. “And thus, the continent’s first monotheism was born.”
