Chapter 2| Ulves Union

The Ulves Union is a coalition of four city-states. Looking at the history of the strings, the four cities before the formation of the coalition were rivals over the hegemony of the westernmost part of the continent. The four cities were sometimes cooperative, sometimes hostile, and competing for hegemony, but as distribution developed and exchanges with other countries outside the western end deepened, the leaders of the time began to feel threatened by external pressure from outside the four cities.

The four cities that make up the Ulves Union are located in north, south, east, and west. Even though they are separated, they are basically a common cultural area because all the cities are within the westernmost territory. However, due to the slight difference in location, each had its own characteristics.

For example, the westernmost city is called the Great Blue Skies of Roynock, where trade by sea is thriving because of its location on the sea. The northern city of Black Iron of Altie has a large number of blacksmiths and other craftsmen. The southern city of Grand Red Harvest of Facrita is rich in land and crops.

The city to the east, White Willow of Muldu, is the opposite of the city to the west. It is the western gateway by land.

It is the city that reaches first through the walls of unity, and because it comes into contact with many foreigners and cultures, it has a deep knowledge of foreign countries and tends to this city’s representative an ideal candidate for speaking on the Ulves union’s behalf.
